Parks
There are a number of parks located throughout Ironton. Each offers the opportunity for family fun in the way of playground equipment for children, picnic tables, and more.
The following is a list of parks in the city:

Edna Kopacz Park - Located on South 8th and McGovney.

9th Street Park - Located on South 9th Street just a few blocks from Park Avenue.

Beechwood Park - Owned by Ironton High School, but maintained by the Ironton Recreation Dept., Beechwood is home to playground equipment and tennis courts.

Ironton Splash Park - Located on South 2nd and Vernon, offers the chance for families to cool off in the summer.

Etna Street Park - Located on Etna Street, there is a playground, tennis courts, and basketball courts.

Skate Park - Located near the Etna Street Park, offers a unique opportunity for skateboarders. (Photos)

Moltens Field - Located at the mouth of Lawrence Street on the Ironton side, there is a baseball field, playground equipment, picnic shelters, and plenty of field for football and soccer.
