Friends of Ironton
Friends of Ironton is an organization that is highly dedicated to the future of Ironton. This group of committed individuals is responsible for the annual Rally on the River that brings millions of dollars in revenue to the city, the establishment of the downtown sprayground, the restoration of the RO-NA Theater, and more.
Ironton aLive
Ironton aLive is an organization that consists of 15 board members and it was created as a way to encourage greater business involvement with the efforts of the organizations already working toward revitalizing Ironton. Ironton aLive also brings all of the groups together to focus efforts toward the same goal: moving Ironton forward by helping all groups set goals, implement strategies, and share resources so Ironton can continue to grow.
Ironton in Bloom
Ironton in Bloom, a member of America in Bloom, has a mission and that is "Planting Pride in Our Community." This organization has won awards beautifying Ironton's downtown and beyond. They conduct the "Over The Back Fence" Yard Tour annually in June, which is a self-guided tour that begins at the Lawrence County Historical Museum. Ironton Rotary Club
The Ironton Rotary Club was chartered in 1920 and has served Ironton and the surrounding communities ever since. The Club is dedicated to improving the lives of all people, both locally and globally, through the implementation of the ideals of Rotary by participating in service projects both close to home and in conjunction with organizations around the world. Club members meet most Wednesdays at noon in downtown Ironton. Check out our facebook page for more details!
